K & K 🤍 1000 hours, crafting 100’s of embroidered white roses & XL uniquely handcrafted 3D silk chiffon & silk organza peonies & poppies. Swipe for WIP process in our London Atelier… Every second was pure magic, conjuring for the greatest pair of magicians. Today, in New York, we are launching our new bridal collection, Kadō. Representing the idea of ‘the art behind the embroidery’ and celebrating craftsmanship. Each of our dresses takes months to hand paint and draw from fresh flower + botanical studies. We then develop the artworks into each pattern piece, which in turn we engineer into the unique embroideries. Inspired by the process of Kadō, I considered each piece in this collection as unique parts of a whole. Follow our Stories for behind the scenes in New York Bridal Fashion Week this week.. In Kadō, rather than offering an over flowering bouquet, the tradition, literally translated as ‘way of flowers’ presents individual blossoms one at a time, building up an arrangement, allowing the viewer to enjoy each aspect of the whole. In our new collection, each gown is considered ‘Art Couture’ as it was designed, and yet is can be added to, uniquely and thoughtfully. The concept of layering and removing pieces from ceremony to reception presents a sustainable and modern solution for brides. Each gown can be personalised with a special date, initial, or sentimental symbolic message and is hand made to order, with traditional embroidery techniques.

New volume silhouettes layer over slim fit colourful column dresses and removable dramatic overskirts are styled over party minis. Our new collection Kadō, features finely pleated hand painted organza, delicately embroidered tulle in voluminous skirts with hand pleated + stacked petticoats under large circle skirts, soft crepes, intricate embellishment and hand cut floral appliqué, mermaid trains and plunging necklines.
